Browser Troubleshooting

It is recommended to use the Chrome Browser for all Test Administration Sessions.  


Disabling Pop-Up Blocking on Chrome Browser

  1. In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the Chrome menu Screen Shot 2015-03-26 at 12.48.13 PM.png.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Show advanced settings.
  4. Under "Privacy," click the Content settings button.
  5. Under "Pop-ups," select Allow all sites to show pop-ups.

Test Administration Tips

  • Fully charge the device used to run the browser for Test Administration*


  • Display the Test Administration session on your projector so you can walk around your classroom to monitor student screens 




  • Use your laptop in Tablet Mode to simultaneously walk around your classroom monitoring student screens and the Test Administration session


*A device that runs out of power during a Test Administration session will automatically close the session, pause all student tests and require students to join another Test Administration session to continue testing.

TOMS Password Reset

If you have reset your TOMS password from the original email:

  1. Go to TOMS
  2. Click Forgot Your Password? 
  3. Follow onscreen directions with security questions to reset your password



If you never logged into TOMS:

Email to request a password reset immediately

Student SSID Lookup


  1. Login to TOMS
  2. Select Students tab on left-hand side
  3. Search for student
  4. Remember to include the CA- before the SSID listed in TOMS

In Test Administration Interface:

  1. Login to Test Administrator Interface
  2. Click Student Lookup
  3. Click Advanced Search
  4. Search for Student

In Infinite Campus:

  1. Login to Infinite Campus
  2. Select student from your roster
  3. SSID is located under Student Summary
