Measure G Citizens’ Oversight Committee Application

The deadline for filing an application has been extended to Nov-07-2012

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Dear Resident:

Residents in the Hayward Unified School District passed Measure G, on the June 5th ballot.

A Citizens’ Oversight Committee, composed of a cross section of local residents, is being formed to ensure the spending of all revenue generated by Measure G is consistent with the measure.  These funds will be used at every school and will provide technology infrastructure, classroom upgrades, expanded instruction and provide students with the science and computer technology they need for a quality education.

The voters passed Measure G, and the work of the Citizens’ Oversight Committee will guarantee that all funds will be used exclusively to benefit the education of children in the District.

Please consider applying to serve on this important committee.  The deadline for application submission is Wednesday, October 31, 2012.  If you have any questions about your application or the work the committee performs, please contact me at (510)784-2600 or e-mail: citizensoversightg@husd.us

Sincerely,
