Project EAT promotes nutrition education and physical activity at schools, from Preschool through Grade 12, and in the community.  Nutrition Education Cooking and Garden Connection lessons are taught in classrooms, school gardens, and after-school programs throughout Hayward, and three additional school districts.  Project EAT also provides professional development for classroom teachers, after-school program staff and HUSD’s Americorps members.
