Youth Health Fitness Advocates

Members serving asYouth Health/Fitness Advocates will lead fitness and health education activities in YEP after-school programs at 26 HUSD schools. These will include physical fitness activities and garden- and cooking-based nutrition education using a variety of evidence-based curricula and community service activities related to health programming. At least 70 students per school will engage in at least 200 minutes per week of these activities during the 36-week school year.

Youth Health and Fitness Advocates work with YEP students to provide physical fitness, cooking and garden based activities. They put the P.E. in YEP!
