Work Continues Year-Round

Facilities & Planning involves a wide variety of areas. The Director of Facilities, Maintenance, Operations & Transportation (FMOT) collaborates and liaisons with the Bond Construction Coordinator, City and County Planners, Developers and Architects, Demographers, Trade Labor Councils/Unions, Teachers, Community Members, and others in order to produce a robust and forward-thinking plan for Hayward's future. Facility planning also includes the proper use of public resources, including but not limited to, the State School Building programs, the Maintenance Assessment District (MAD), Measure G, Measure I, Measure L, and Measure H funding.
